May 5, 2008, New York: The Inaugural Peace Rocks New York (www.peacerocksnewyork.com) The rock stars of the financial services industry competed in a "Battle of the Bands" competition at the Hard Rock Cafe in Times Square to raise funds to grow the Peace Games program in New York. Competing bands included Behind Closed Doors, Invisible Men, The Bang, and The States. Special guest judges included musicians Stevie Van Zandt and Jean Beauvoir, Q104.3's Bob Buchmann, and Hard Rock International CEO Hamish Dodds. The event was emceed by Q104.3's Jim Kerr. Hard Rock Café Grand Opening Celebration in Faneuil Hall
The event, which benefited Peace Games, was hosted by Peace Games board member and actor Donal Logue, featured a performance by Aaron Lewis of Staind, music from DJ Tendjai Lathan, and special guest appearances by Jason Isaacs, Aerosmith members Joey Kramer and Tom Hamilton, Scott Ian of Anthrax, The Click Five, Barry Goudreau of Boston, former Van Halen frontman Gary Cherone, and Darryl “DMC” McDaniels of Run DMC.

July 2, 2007, Boston: Hard Rock Café Opening in Faneuil Hall Peace Games students participated in the opening of the new Hard Rock Café, taking place in a “guitar smash” along with Mayor Thomas Menino, Darryl “DMC” McDaniels, James Montgomery, Jordan Knight, and the Blue Man Group. Through Peace Games, Hard Rock Café will donate 71 new guitars to Boston public schools in honor of the opening.

June 4, 2007, Boston: Boston's Young Peacemakers in Action Event Hosted by Senator Jarrett Barrios at the Massachusetts State House, the celebration featured student peacemakers from 9 Boston schools who displayed their Community Service Learning projects. Guests were entertained by the Thomas J. Kenny Elementary School marching band, the Oliver W. Holmes School choir, and dancers from Cathedral Grammar School. Senator Barrios spoke about the importance of peacemaking, along with Peace Games President Eric Dawson, Peace Games Regional Director Cherie Craft, and even a few Peace Games students. Peace Rocks Boston
Peace Rocks Boston took place on May 22, 2007 at the Roxy. The event featured the sounds of James Montgomery and Friends, Darryl "DMC" McDaniels, the Thomas J. Kenny Elementary School band, the Oliver W. Holmes School choir, and spoken word artist Sofia Snow. Peace Games board members and actors Donal Logue and Rashida Jones also made special guest appearances. Guests enjoyed cuisine provided by some of Boston's top reastaurants including Aquitaine Bis, Henrietta's Table, O-SUSHI, Trani Brands, Legal Test Kitchen, Formaggio Kitchen, Copia, and B&R Artisan Bread. Celebrities and special guests enjoyed a VIP after-party at Boston's Hard Rock Cafe.

November 15, 2006, Boston: Olivia's Organics Check Presentation
Olivia’s Organics president Mark DeMichaelis visited the Tobin School on November 15th, after Olivia’s Organics’ recent donation of $10,000 to Peace Games. August 8, 2006, Boston: J.P. Licks Original Peace Games Flavor Tasting Vince Petryk founder of J.P. Licks and Ray Sozzi, Jr., president of RVS Ventures, conducted an ice cream give-away at the J.P. Licks located at 352 Newbury Street in Boston. S'WORLD PEACE, a sweet cream ice cream with chunks of brownie and a mint fudge swirl, was sold in J.P. Licks locations throughout the city with proceeds benefiting Peace Games. This past April, J.P. Licks donated an ice cream flavor to Peace Games, and the chance to create the flavor was an auction item for its annual School House Rocks fundraiser. The popular item was part of a competitive bidding war and was eventually won by Ray Sozzi, Jr., a long-time supporter and newest Peace Games Board member. July 20, 2006, Boston: The first Peace Games National Conference - Community Day Over 150 people joined us at Lesley University in Cambridge for a day of games, panel speakers, and workshops on building a culture that values and empowers young people as peacemakers. July 11, 2006, New York: DECLARE PEACE A Peace Games Benefit featuring The Citizen's Band with Zooey Deschanel was held Tuesday, July 11th 2006 at the Hiro Ballroom at The Maritime Hotel. The Citizens Band gave a mesmerizing performance with music, dancing and trapeze artistry, turning all Peace Games supporters into new fans! Renowned model Karen Elson showcased her amazing musical talents alongside Angela McCluskey and Sarah Sophie Flicker. Emmy award winner Ian Buchanan hosted a live auction that raised much needed funds to launch Peace Games in a new NYC school this fall! May 23, 2006, Los Angeles: 3rd Annual GQ/Calvin Klein Poker tournament The celebrity poker tournment was held at Herb Ritts' former estate in Bel Air, and was hosted by poker pro Jim Miller. The hottest poker pros from Vegas such as Phil Gordon, and celebs including Ellen DeGeneres, Portia de Rossi, Hank Azaria, and Anne Heche got in the game. Jessica Simpson, Lindsay Lohan, Lara Flynn Boyle and Nicky Hilton also came to enjoy the Grey Goose specialty drinks and catering from In-N-Out Burger.

April 27, 2006, Boston: 3rd Annual School House Rocks Event School House Rocks ROCKED the Roxy with performances on stage by Lisa Loeb, James Montgomery, Akashic Record, Brainz Davis, Jeff Timmons, DMC, PM Dawn, Nuttin' but Stringz and other amazing celebrity performers. Also there to emcee and and enjoy the evening were Donal Logue, Joey McIntyre, Jordan Knight, Susie Castillo and Liz Walker. The guests also enjoyed a musical performance from the Thomas J. Kenny Elementary School band, featuring students playing "Louie Louie" and "La Bamba" on guitars donated by Gibson and the Hard Rock Cafe!
Guests feasted on cuisine provided by some of Boston's top reastaurants including Via Matta, Clio, OSushi, Eastern Standard, Olivia's Organics, Formaggio Kitchen, Petite Robert Bistro, Union Bar and Grill, and B&R Artisian Bread. Grey Goose served specialty cocktails throughout the night at an ice sculpted martini bar. Items such as Jet Blue tickets, a trip to St. Marteen, a "Name your own Flavor" JP Licks package and a visit to the MTV Studios were raffled off. An amazing after party at Boston's Hard Rock Cafe featured more improv celebrity performances and friendly games of poker. A truly unforgettable night that we hope to grow every year. January 2006, Washington, D.C.: "Something New" Screening The first Peace Games event in the D.C. area was a huge success! Special thanks to Peace Games star supporter Joe Watson for hosting the event and to everyone at Cashman and Associates for planning such a successful benefit. Sanaa Lathan, star of the movie "Something New," presented a special screening of her film followed by a private after party at Clyde's of Gallery Place. Over 200 VIP's from the D.C. area joined together with Sanaa to learn more about Peace Games and support the cause. December 2005, Boston: "TENNIS, ANYONE?" ran at Boston's Kendall Cinema to benefit Peace Games Peace Game's very own board member and champion supporter, Donal Logue (Best Actor at the Sundance Film Festival for The Tao of Steve and star of the sitcom "Grounded for Life"), made his writing and directing debut in his new film, "Tennis, Anyone?" The movie ran exclusively at the Kendall Square Cinema in Cambridge from December 9-15 and the proceeds from the entire week's run went to benefit Peace Games. Peace Games even made several special appearances in the movie. ________________________________________________
September 17, 2005, New York: Hard Rock Times Square Grand Opening to benefit Peace Games Peace Games made a big splash in NYC at the Grand Opening of the brand new Hard Rock cafe and theater in Times Square! Musical Superstars Velvet Revolver gave an incredible performance, Mark Ronson rocked the turntables throughout the night and Reverend Run from Run DMC officially dedicated the new space. Hard Rock made a generous contribution to our program which will help launch our NYC schools this semester! ________________________________________________
May 5, 2005, Los Angeles: GQ and Calvin Klein Celebrity Poker Tournament The Second Annual Celebrity Poker Tour was a huge hit! Held at the Beverly Hills Mansion where Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony married, stars including Chris Klein, Paul Rudd, Shannon Elizabeth, Mimi Rogers, Jason Alexander, Rick Fox, Kimberly Stewart, Jennifer Tilly, Allison Janney, Jennie Garth and Peter Facinelli, Mekhi Phifer, Sean Astin, and Gina Gershon among many others got in the game! Dule Hill from The West Wing won the final round, and walked away with one of the prize packages including private jet service, a week stay in Las Alamandads, and private poker lessons from Jim Miller, World Poker Tour Champion! Peace Games was able to raise funds that will help our existing LA and Boston schools, and support our growth into NYC, Pasedena and Chicago. To see photos from the event, click here
