There are many opportunities to get involved at Peace Games as part of our staff, as a volunteer, as a partner school, or as a funder.

Where We've Been, Where We're Going

Peace Games was founded on the belief that young people have the power and responsibility to change the world. It is an innovative violence prevention program that teaches elementary school students to be peacemakers across the country. It is the goal of Peace Games to empower children so they may create their own safe classrooms and communities.

Since its founding in 1996, Peace Games has grown to be an entrepreneurial national non-profit and a proud member of the AmeriCorps national service network that is poised for growth. There is a demand for our program that has only grown stronger in recent months. Over the next couple of years we will share more broadly the program and techniques we have learned in our first ten years of teaching children to be peacemakers. Already we have programs operating on both coasts and are piloting new realtionships as far away as Alaska. It is an exciting in Peace Games' history as we form new partnerships and develop our approach to supporting schools that implement our program!
